Welcome to our section about the trailers and promotions used on BBC Two between 2007 and 2014
This look was first seen on the 18th February 2007 and started off as a set of 14 idents called Window on the World. The concept was that the camera would pull back from footage to see that there was a two, the idea being about taking a different perspective when looking at things.
The look was designed by an advertising agency called Abbot Mead Vickers BBDO and had a soundtrack by Vince Pope. As part of the new look the box surrounding the BBC Two changed colour from the purple in the previous set of idents to teal.
When the channel celebrated its 50th birthday in 2014 these idents were shelved and replaced by a modified version of the idents used during the late 1990s
