MAI DAVIES

Mai Davies started her TV careeer at HTV before joining TVS to co-present Coast to Coast in the South of their region. After TVS lost their franchise she joined Meridian and co-presented their evening news programme Meridian Tonight form the their new news centre in Newbury. After leaving Meridian she has undertaken freelance work and also now works on Sky News

PAUL DAVIES

Paul Davies started out at Television South (TVS) on their nightly news programme Coast to Coast where his first major story was covering the aftermath of the Falklands war in 1983. He moved to ITN the following year become a war correspondant and recieved an OBE for this in 1993.

MIKE DEBENS

Mike Debens was the main presenter for TVS's main evening news programme Coast to Coast where he co-presented the South East edition from maidstone alongside Mike Fuller and later Liz Wickham. Upon the demise of TVS he went on to co-present Meridian Tonight from Maidstone alongside Alison Holloway.Mike left Meridian in 2000.

FRED DINENAGE

Fred Dinenage is ITV in the South of England. He started out with Southern Television in 1964, he had a spell with Yorkshire Television in the 1970s before returning to be a sports presenter for Southern until their demise in 1982. When TVS took over he was a sports reporter there before becoming the main presenter of the Southampton based Coast to Coast when Khalid Aziz left. He co-presented with Fern Britton (also on ocassiokns Mai Davies) until the end of 1992 when TVS lost the franchise. He joined Meridian to present the evening programme Meridian Tonight from Southampton alongside Debbie Thrower. He still presents Meridian Tonight although this version goes out across the whole of the region now. He has also presented the children's programme How (and later HOW2), game show Gambit and he is the official biographer for Ronnie and Reggie Kray (leading to him being on a number of crime based documentaries)

DONALD DOUGAL

Donald Dougal was a reporter for Scene South East, a regional programme made by Southern Television for the South East of its patch. He went on countryside walks and did reports on his trips.
