DEBBIE THROWER

Debbie Thrower started out in BBC Local Radio before joining BBC South Today as co-presenter in the 1980s. From here she went on to national news, mostly at the weekends. Debbie joined Fred Dinenage to co-present the south edition of Meridian Tonight when it launched in 1993 where she stayed until 2009. During this time she also presented a number of other shows including The First Ten Minutes (the first show on Meridian) and Collectors Lot. Thrower now undertakes freelance work alongside her charity work
