Stand Up For The Week was a comedy programme on Channel Four airing on Friday and then after the first series on Saturday evenings. The show was filmed in front of a live audience.

The format for the first two series, which were filmed at KOKO in Camden featured regular comedy performers talking about a set subject related to events that happened in the week such as the internet being covered by Andi Osho, sport by Kevin Bridges, celebrity news by Jack Whitehall and all things American by Rich Hall. The episode would also feature a guest comedian performer. The first series was presented by Patrick Kielty, this series featured a section called The Chair where Kielty would perform a two minute comedy section about the guest comedian with them following it up after (like a mini roast) however this section was scrapped with the second series which was presented by Kevin Bridges.

From the third series onwards filming was moved to the Clapham Grand and the line up of performers had changed and the main presenter was now Jon Richardson. Seann Walsh, Josh Widdicombe, Sara Pascoe and Paul Chowdhury joined Rich Hall who had been the only one of the regular performers to return. Hall himself would leave and be replaced by Andrew Lawrence for the fourth and fifth series. The fifth and final series would be presented by Chowdhury with Angela Barnes, Simon Evans and Romesh Ranganathan joining the show.

The last programme was aired on the 20th December 2013 and Channel Four confirmed in late 2015 that the series would not be continued.
