Animal Kwackers was a children's programme about four animals that beamed down from space and performed as a pop band. The four consisted of a monkey called Twang who played piano / bass guitar, Rory (a lion who played guitar), a dog called Bongo on the drums and the lead vocals were a tiger called Boots. The four covered pop hits alongside their own original songs, some of which made it onto LP.
Each episode also featured a story (which was read by Rory) featuring the members in cartoon form
