Button Moon was a children's programme featuring puppets, made to look like they were constructed from kitchen utensils and other objects. The programme was based around Mr. Spoon and his travels in his spaceship (made to look like a can of bakked beans) to Button Moon (as its name suggests - it was a button). Alongside Mr. Spoon was often his daughter Tina Teaspoon and her friend Eggbert. The show would start with the preperation to launch and the countdown, undertaken by Mrs. Spoon.
The show was narrated by Robin Parkinson and the theme tune was sung by, then husband and wife team, Peter Davison (the 5th Doctor Who) and Sandra Dickinson).
